Our Mission: To introduce kids to a fun way to get fit, be active and learn the value of giving back through racing in a world-class event.

Our Theme: Kids Racing for Kids Who Can’t

Hundreds of Minnesota kids are battling cancer and are too sick to race – so you’ll do the racing for them. We’ll mark your leg with the name of the cancer kid you’ll be racing in spirit for. We hope you will also choose to raise pledges for the Miracles of Mitch Foundation to make your race more meaningful.001.jpg

Lake Swim: Stays along sandy beach in water shallow enough so you can always touch bottom. 100 yards is the length of a football field. Practice swimming and set a goal to swim the whole way!

The Bike: Police will close all the roads just for you. Minneapolis course is flat and fast on the city’s famous Parkway. Chanhassen course has two uphills and two downhills and more turns.

The Run: Your 3rd and final event of the race. We’ll have a water station on the course in case you get thirsty. Practice pacing so you can run the whole way without walking.

om71.jpgThe Finish: Huge crowds will cheer you home so finish with a sprint and smile for the cameras. You’ve raced for a kid who can’t so your finisher’s medal will be for both of you.

OrangeFest: That’s what we call the party and picnic where we celebrate your victory! Wear your t-shirt and medal for pictures on the champion’s stage and stay for awesome music, games, dancing and food.

Awards Ceremony: You won’t want to miss it. 080.jpgWe’ll recognize the top fund-raisers for the Miracles of Mitch Foundation and all the VIP kids they raised pledges for. This is the life celebration of both the fundraisers and the VIP kids who are courageously battling to beat cancer. Every year, some of the VIP kids also race and turn in pledges and for those who are too sick to race, they dream of getting better and coming back to MiracleKids next year – as a Racer. It’s the perfect ending to a perfect day. Plan to stay right to the end for an unforgettably inspirational experience for your whole family.
